General terms and conditions

1. The guest accommodation contract (rental contract) is concluded as soon as the room has been reserved (by telephone) and confirmed. A written confirmation is not required for the guest accommodation contract (rental contract) to come about. Pension Seemoi is free to confirm the room booking in text form.

2. The customer does not acquire the right to be provided specific rooms unless this has been expressly agreed. Booked rooms are available to the customer from 4 p.m. on the agreed day of arrival. The customer has no right to earlier availability. On the agreed day of departure, the guesthouse’s rooms must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. at the latest.

3. The payment of the invoice takes place on site in cash or 14 days before arrival by bank transfer.

4. The guest is liable for the loss of the room key (or a spare key) with a share of EUR 110.00.

5. The reserved room will definitely be kept free on the day of arrival. The termination/cancellation of the rental contract is only possible free of charge up to 8 weeks after the conclusion of the rental contract. In the event of cancellation or no-show, I will try to rent the room to someone else. If this is not possible, I will charge you the room price minus 10% of the room for saved expenses. I would like to point out that this also applies to cancellations due to belonging to a risk group or a maximum budgetary restriction.

6. I therefore recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance!

7. If the room can be rented again, the obligation to pay the agreed accommodation price only lapses if the agreed rental price is achieved through the new rental in the booked period. Otherwise, the difference must be borne by the first customer. You are free to prove that the actual additional effort was lower in the individual case.

8. I can deny access to the rooms to people who are obviously drunk.

9. I have non-smoking rooms. If you don’t comply, I will charge an additional cleaning fee depending on the effort.

10. We value sustainability. Towels and bed linen are included. Additional towels/bath towels available on request at an additional cost. You are free to opt out of the daily cleaning service.

11. Pets are unfortunately not allowed.

12. Verbal ancillary agreements are not made. Changes, additions and cancellations must be made in writing to be effective.

13. Should a provision of this agreement be wholly or partially invalid or subsequently lose its legal validity, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected thereby. The statutory provisions shall apply in place of the ineffective provisions.

14. Your Seemoi guesthouse is very hospitable and we strive to maintain this character. It is a family run property and is trusted by the third generation. We find the strength of the company and the time we spend with family is just as important. For this reason, we inform you that from 2022 we will no longer provide cleaning services on Sundays. We thank you for your understanding.
